NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURERS OF SA (NAAMSA)

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa (NAAMSA) announces that, at the Annual General Meeting of the Association held in Johannesburg on 23rd November, 2006, Dr Johan van Zyl, President and Chief Executive Officer, Toyota South Africa Motors (Pty) Ltd, was re-elected as President of NAAMSA for the year 2007.

Mr Robert Socia, President and Managing Director, General Motors South Africa (Pty) Ltd, was elected as Vice President of NAAMSA for 2007.

Mr David Powels, incoming Managing Director of Volkswagen of South Africa (Pty) Ltd, was appointed as Vice President of NAAMSA for 2007.

NAAMSA’s Annual Report for 2006 was approved at the AGM and is available, on request, from the NAAMSA offices.
