Effective Jan 2006 a revised octane grade structure will be introduced in South Africa and the background to this important development is explained fully in the following Naamsa press release:

Naamsa has taken the initiative in creating these web pages in order that motorists may check the compliance of their vehicles with the revised octane grade structures. The pages are being designed to be as user-friendly as possible and the Motor manufacturers will be providing contact numbers in the event of a motorist experiencing problems with their fuel grading.
